These terms apply when you use complychainsolutions.com (the "site"), operated by ComplyChain Solutions LLC ("ComplyChain"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

 

1. Information, not advice

 

The site, including the blog, gives general information about blockchain investigations and compliance. It is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice and does not create a client relationship. We are not a law firm. For advice on your situation, speak to a qualified professional.

 

2. Engagements are separate

 

We start work only after a written engagement letter is signed. That letter sets the scope, fees and terms. Sending an enquiry does not make you a client, and does not stop us acting for another party. Please don't send confidential information until we confirm there is no conflict.

 

3. No promise of recovery

 

Our work identifies and documents where funds went. Whether funds are frozen, seized or returned depends on law enforcement, courts, exchanges and other third parties. We do not guarantee any outcome. We never charge recovery fees, and we never ask for payment in crypto to release funds.

 

4. Prices

 

Prices on the site are starting prices in U.S. dollars and may change. The fee for any engagement is the one in your signed engagement letter.

 

5. Using the site

 

You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent; impersonate ComplyChain or anyone else; try to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems or disrupt them; scrape or copy the site at scale; or post spam, advertising or harmful content in comments or chat. We may remove comments and suspend accounts that break these rules.

 

6. Impersonation warning

 

Scammers sometimes pretend to be recovery firms. We only email from @complychainsolutions.com addresses and we never contact fraud victims first. If someone uses our name to contact you, do not send money. Report it to info@complychainsolutions.com and to the police.

 

7. Intellectual property

 

The site's content, logos and design belong to ComplyChain or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use with credit to us. You may not republish or sell them without our written permission. CoinForensics is a ComplyChain product.

 

8. Links to other sites

 

We link to other sites, such as government reporting portals, for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

 

9. Disclaimer

 

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

 

10. Limitation of liability

 

To the extent the law allows, ComplyChain is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US$100. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not change the terms of any engagement letter.

 

11. Governing law

 

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes about the site will be heard by the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless your local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
